Review Time
Been ordering from Jumia for small small things since last year and honestly the experience has been smooth most times. Delivery is usually fast and they pack things well, so when your order arrives everything is intact sha. My only gripe is that sometimes items show as in stock online but when your order is processing you get a message saying it's unavailable — happened twice now and it's annoying because you've already made up your mind. Overall though for an e-commerce platform this size, they're doing their thing pretty well.
Had no plans to order from Jumia but my roommate kept going on about how their prices were cheap so I tried them. I ordered a phone charger on a Saturday and waited almost the whole day before it arrived, and when it finally came the packaging was all bent up like dem just threw it inside the delivery van. The charger itself works fine sha, but e no easy when you're waiting and waiting. Would've just gone to Computer Village at this point if I wasn't already home.
Wasn't even planning to come but my boy needed a phone charger and Jumia had it in stock nearby. Service was proper fast sha — guy at the counter attended to me immediately, no waiting around like some places. The only thing that annoyed me small small was how they packed the item like it wasn't fragile, creases on the box and everything, but the product itself was fine. I'll still keep ordering from them because they deliver quick to my area and prices na decent.
Usually avoid places like this but I ordered a farming tool last month and it came faster than I expected — no joke. The thing is, delivery guy called me three times asking for directions even though the address was clear, almost made me lose my mind that day. App itself works smooth and prices are fair compared to trekking to Benin, but abeg they need to train their delivery riders better because e no easy dealing with wahala after paying for something.
