Came against my better judgment and tried their burden reporting service last month. The actual reporting process was straightforward enough and they attended to me fairly quick, but abeg the follow-up communication was terrible sha. They promised updates on my case status and I heard nothing for weeks until I had to call and chase them myself. Won't say don't go but just manage your expectations about how serious they take the after-service part.
I've tried here for months now and I must say their daily reporting sha has changed how I stay informed about what's happening around Nigeria. The thing I really like is how they break down complicated stories in a way that doesn't take forever to understand, the girl at the counter even helped me pick which edition covers the issues I cared about most. Not saying everything is perfect but for someone like me who trades and doesn't have time to sit and decode news, this works well. Worth the money honestly.
Was skeptical at first but Daily Trust's coverage of local issues in Kaduna has been solid. What got me was how they reported on the farm subsidies program last month — they actually followed up with farmers like myself instead of just printing what government said. The consistency is there, abeg. Five stars because a newspaper that does proper investigation in this country deserves it.
