Good bank but the queues are killing me

Been coming here for months now and I must say First Bank has treated me well with their services — transactions go through smooth and the mobile app actually works unlike some other places. My only real complaint sha is the waiting time; last week I came to handle a transfer and spent almost an hour in queue even though there were like five tellers standing around. The staff are friendly enough when they finally get to you, but abeg they need to sort out their queue management because a shop owner like me no get time like that. Still, I'll keep banking with them because they haven't given me serious reason to leave.

been coming here for months and the service is really good sha

Long time customer dropping a review finally because First Bank has treated me well as someone who handles accounts for small businesses around Bauchi. The staff know me by name at this point and they process my transactions quick quick, no unnecessary wahala like some branches. My only gripe though — and this one annoyed me last week — the queue system is just chaotic. They have like 5 counters but only 3 people working and you standing there watching empty chairs while your lunch break finishes. Apart from that though, solid bank and I can't complain much for a 4/5.

good bank but their online app is annoying

I've been coming around for months now and First Bank is solid sha. The staff at the counter are friendly, transactions are fast, and they don't give you trouble when you come in — I came last week to sort out my account and was attended to within minutes. The thing is their mobile app though, e no easy. Navigating that thing is a nightmare, sometimes it freezes for no reason, and I've had to come physically to the branch three times just to fix issues that should've been simple online. If they sort out that app side, this place would be perfect honestly.

was skeptical but first bank still has issues

Honestly I wasn't planning to come but my business partner needed to sort out some account thing so I followed her. The girl at the counter sha didn't even look up when we walked in, just kept typing on her computer like we were invisible — waited almost 20 minutes before she acknowledged us. The actual service when she finally attended was fine, transfers went through quick and no wahala with that side, but the whole vibe and how they treat customers like you're bothering them sef spoiled the whole thing. Not terrible enough to switch banks but not good enough to recommend to anyone either.
