Review Time
Used to be my go-to but honestly the experience has been frustrating lately. The jazz playlist is solid and I appreciate what they're trying to do with the sophisticated vibe, but abeg the signal keeps dropping and I end up missing entire songs which defeats the purpose. For something that's supposed to be smooth and seamless the technical side needs serious work. On the fence about staying subscribed at this point.
Tried this place for months now and the playlist curation is honestly top notch for someone like me who appreciates soul and jazz. Audio quality sha is where they lose me big time because sometimes the stream just cuts out for no reason and you have to refresh. For a service charging what they charge, that kind of interruption shouldn't happen as much as it does. Decent app interface and the DJ mixes are solid but until they sort out their streaming stability, I can't fully recommend it.
Was skeptical at first but my friend dragged me to tune into Smooth FM and honestly the station itself is really smooth like they promised. The jazz selection is top notch and it actually helped me relax after long days selling food at the market. My only complaint sha is that sometimes the signal cuts out randomly especially in the afternoon and it's annoying when you're just getting into a good track. Overall though if you want something calm and sophisticated for background listening it does the job well.
