I've tried here for months now and their digital banking platform is genuinely smooth. The mobile app doesn't lag like other banks sha, transfers go through quick and you can see everything clear clear on your dashboard. One thing that got me was how easy they made it to open an account without all the usual back and forth at the branch. They really deserve credit for making banking less stressful than it used to be.
Been trying to use Wema's mobile app for transfers and honestly the technology they pioneered sha doesn't feel like it's working for regular people like me. Opened an account expecting smooth sailing since everyone says they're digital pioneers, but waiting 20 minutes in the branch just to sort out a simple issue defeated the whole purpose. The app itself moves slow and sometimes my transactions hang for hours before confirming. I no go lie, they have the right idea but the execution is leaving me frustrated — might just stick with my old bank for now.
