Review Time
Took a lot of convincing to try The Guardian because honestly I thought news apps are all the same, but I wanted to see if their conscience thing about truth was real. The articles dem are actually thoughtful and not just pushing sensationalism like other places, which I respect sha. My grouse is the updates come slow sometimes when big news is breaking and you're waiting for their take while other outlets already posted, so by the time they put out their version the moment almost pass. Overall decent for someone like me who wants news with some moral thinking behind it, but the speed issue holds them back.
I've been following The Guardian for a while now and the stories they publish are actually well researched and truthful unlike some other places wey just post any thing for clout. What annoyed me though is their website is so slow and sometimes I can't even load articles when I'm using data on my phone, abeg it's frustrating when you just want to quickly read the news. Overall the content is solid and I trust what I read there but they need to fix that technical side of things because e no easy trying to access news when the platform is crawling like snail.

The way they verify information before publishing it puts them above the noise — you actually feel like they care about getting the truth out rather than just chasing clicks like other platforms. Been reading them regularly now for about two months and I haven't caught them spreading any nonsense. For someone like me trying to stay informed without getting my head twisted, this is exactly what I needed.
