I've been buying Punch for years now and the content is solid I won't lie, the stories are well written and they cover the issues wey matter. But abeg the distribution itself is a whole wahala, sometimes I go to my usual vendor and they say stock no come that morning, or the papers arrive late afternoon when most people don already move on with their day. For a newspaper wey suppose reach people quick quick, the logistics side needs serious work because e no easy when you ready to read and the paper no available.
I've been buying Punch newspaper for years now abeg, and the thing that keeps me coming back is how early they hit the streets. As a security guard I start my shift before dawn sometimes and this paper is always ready before anybody else. The news coverage is solid and the pages don't tear up in your hands like some of them. Worth the money spent honestly.
Used to grab Punch every morning on my way to the carpentry workshop, and I no go lie the stories them strong. But these days finding it around Bauchi is like searching for clean water — you go to three different spots before you get am. Quality of the paper itself still decent, but the distribution sha? E no easy. Sometimes the print quality is smudged, sometimes you get old editions selling like new ones. I still read am but na out of habit at this point, not because I'm impressed with how they do things.
